When browsing and adding products to your shopping cart, you will remain in a normal browsing mode. However, to protect your security, the final process of the order is completed in secure mode using SSL (see below). This is one of many steps we take to protect your information, especially your credit card data.

Yellow Dog Design, Inc. uses a 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) secure server certificate. Our shopping cart automatically accesses the secure server when you click the "checkout" icon on the Order Summary page, encrypting your delivery & payment information so that it cannot be read as it travels between your browser and the secure server. This page will seem to be "slower", but that's due to the encryption that is taking place. Please be patient. To assure that you are communicating in a secure environment, verify that the web site address begins with https:// and not http:// (the s stands for secure). https:// can only be used if the server has a secure server certificate from an authorized agency.

When you place an order, we will ask you for your email address, in order to send an order confirmation email. This order confirmation will serve as your preliminary receipt, and will contain information that is required to track your order, if necessary.

From time to time, redhautehorse.com may send email of special offers to our mailing list subscribers. If you do not wish to receive these offers, you may opt out. During the purchase process, simply "uncheck" the "Subscribe to Mail List" checkbox. If you are currently subscribed to our mailing list you may remove yourself by loging into your account and click on the "Edit My Profile" link, then uncheck the "Subscribe to Mail List" check box. The Way We Use Information:
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. For instance, we must provide your address to UPS to deliver the ordered items.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive, notify customers of backorders, and notify customers of problems with an order, as well as new product notification or special events and/or promotions. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
